About the event

What is the Rhubarb Festival? For the past 32 years the Kankakee County Historical Society has been celebrating the county's beginnings with rhubarb pie, vendors, and history. Dr. Abram Small utlized much of the land surrounding the Small Memorial Home to grow rhubarb plant which he woiuld use for medicinal purposes.
